About me

Hello! I am a tenure-track assistant professor of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Mississippi State University (MSU) starting in Fall 2024. Before coming to MSU, I served as a Postdoc Fellow at the University of Virginia (UVA), affiliated with both the Environmental Institute and Link Lab mentored by Drs. Arsalan Heydarian and Brad Campbell. I earned my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Michigan State University in 2023, guided by Dr. Zhaojian Li. Before that, I obtained my B.Eng. degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in June 2017.

Research Interests: Reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, intelligent transportation systems, computer vision, robotics, control, smart agriculture, etc.

Research Projects

My primary research interests lie in the intersection of control, multi-agent systems, and deep learning, with applications to autonomous vehicles, robotics, and smart agriculture. Some of my ongoing projects are soft robotics for fruit harvesting and sorting, multi-robot collaborations, and controlled environment agriculture.
